NOTE:

This blogpost is exclusively talking about the National Inter-school Gymnastics (Trampoline) Competition, so if you think me talking about gym is boring, do not read this.

This is also an extremely long blogpost, so if you feel the need to go to the toilet or take a short nap in between reading this, please do so. Rest assured that I will not feel insulted in any way.

Okay, so after recess on Wednesday, we had Career Ed and Math, which were boring, as usual. ): But for Math right.... Li Shuan, Reetaza and I were doing stupid stuff and camwhoring as well! :D We kept on giggling. Mrs. Ng shot us many disapproving looks. But obviously we didn’t care.

Stupid people doing stupid things!

Then after Math, Cass, Gwen and I left class to go to CCAB to support the trampers who were competing. When we reached there, C Div was about to compete. Before it was their turn, I was so nervous, so I cried. Okay a bit only lah. Felly calmed me down but I was still really scared for I don’t know what reason, so I did not watch any of their routines. Kind of retarded, but yeah.

AND OMG C DIV WON FOURTH!!!! WELL DONE NICOLE, TIFFANY, JASMINE, YI YIN, SI YAN AND JOLENE!!! I LOVE YOU GUYS!! (L)

Fourth is really good, because they won a medal (!!!) and that was better than we EVER did for C DIv for a really long time. And they beat Nanyang, whose C Div was surprisingly weak this year. Well done!

And then, in between C Div and B Div, Cass, Karen, Shir, Felly, Jac and I went to the prata place near CCAB to get Milo Dinosaurs. Then Jac, being the super rich senior, treated ALL of us to Milo Dinosaurs! :D Wow right! One was for $3.20 leh very ex. I LOVE YOU JAC!!! (See special mention in my blog. Feel honoured.)

And then we went back and camwhored a bit and then calmed the B Div-ers who were freaking out. And then they went to compete. Again, I was overwhelmed with anxiety, so I didn’t watch any, but apparently they all did AWESOME. Then Lisa did a quite good routine, with the usual one extra jump only, but she started crying. I think all the emotions that she had been bottling up since the start of the day were all released from her after her routine.

Then, me and Cass gave each other THE look and then our lower lips started quivering and we started tearing. Then B Div came out of the competition area and we went to hug Lisa, and we all started crying together. So emotional right. )): And I promised Lisa that I would mention her and do a section specially for her on my blog so here it is:

I LOVE YOU LISA! (L) You are an awesome batchmate and I love how we are so wonderful friends and everything. And I don’t know why but when I saw you cry during comp, I also felt really bad, and I couldn’t bear to see any of my friends cry, so I started crying as well. Once again, ILY!!!

Haha that was really cheesy, but I promised! (:

And we thought that B Div got 4th, and we got really excited and hyped up, but in the end they got 5th instead. But that is quite good already. ((:

WELL DONE YIN XIN, SIMONE, ETINNE, HENG YENG, LISA AND CHERYL!!!! I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!

And then A Div did quite well also, getting 3rd I think. ((: Ann and Bao and Mel and Steph and Kelly T.!!!!

Haha then after the prize ceremony we threw Jolene, Cass and Deborah in the air! It was quite scary and there were a lot of screams but we still caught them in the end. ((:

And we all made our way to Macs at KAP, then Teo asked who wanted to ride in his car and immediately, my team (Cass, Karen, Xinyi and Felly), being super kiasu and cheapo, jumped at the chance and we rode in his car together with Huiru. Thanks Teo hahaha.

Then the others came and we ate our MacDonald meals (except for Karen, who was fasting from fast food) and we saw a pontianak. ((((: (inside joke) Wah very scary leh! :O My batch made up names for ourselves! :D

And we helped Shirlyn choreograph a new move for her routine! :D It is super cool ttm! Then I went home on 74 (I know damn anticlimax lah but whatever).

I think tramp comp was a highly emotional event, and I won’t forget it in a long long long time. It has taught me the value of friendship and team spirit! Even if some of the friendships I forged in RG Gym over these years may be fleeting, it was lovely while it lasted. (insert watery smile) This is so extremely cheesy. I hope you don’t puke while reading this...
